Page Authority (PA) refers to the measure of a web page’s authority and importance on the World Wide Web. It reflects the strength of a particular page based on the quality and relevance of the information it provides.
Page Authority is scored on a scale of 1 to 100, where a higher score indicates greater authority and a stronger likelihood of ranking well in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs).
This metric was developed by Moz and is calculated using multiple factors, such as:
- MozRank (quality of backlinks),
- MozTrust (trustworthiness of linking sites),
- Number of backlinks pointing to the page,
- Number of outbound links from the page,
- And several other algorithmic signals.
In SEO, Page Authority is widely used to estimate how well a specific web page can perform in search rankings.
